Out of Group A, I expect Nepal, Scotland and the UAE to progress, leaving Hong Kong and Canada to try to avoid the wooden spoon. In players like Calum MacLeod and Matt Machan, I think that Scotland have enough telling class to do better than they did in the Twenty20 edition, and will probably top their group. Otherwise, I'm pretty much judging my prediction by the form that saw Nepal rise to third in the T20 Qualifier, and the UAE rise to third in the World Cricket League. Unfortunately for Canada and Hong Kong, neither has enough depth to convince me that they are going to make much of an impression on anyone but each other.
And I'm probably miles off.
