Phil Eaglestone took three for 33 in sixteen overs in the Warriors' first innings.
The Knights simply carried on where they had left off with the ball, and Nathan Waller claimed the important scalps of Rankin and Hussain. Sajid, so valuable in the first innings, couldn't handle Eaglestone, and was caught behind. McBrine and Stuart Thompson both got in and got out, which, coupled with a golden duck for Niall McDonnell, left yet another innings in tatters on 81 for six. Riddles and Scott Campbell, both of whom have represented Ireland Under-19s, both hung around to mount something of a recovery before also departing. Just 111 ahead, and part of the last pair of fit batsmen, Ricky-Lee Dougherty showed that he is more than just a gloveman by belting three sixes. His 34 came off just 30 balls before he holed out to the Knights skipper to be last man out on a more respectable 172.
Nathan Waller made it five for the match, and kept the Knights' momentum going.
The former Zimbabwean Under-19 then hit out to assure victory.
